The Nordic Hamburg Group of companies was founded by Dr. Rowil Ponta and Mr. Richard Grube, both having a long and successful track record in shipping and finance.
The two partners, who still head the group, in a relatively short period of time, managed to develop the company into a one-stop-partner. This was achieved through a strategy of combining the company’s high level of competence and experience with an excellent and unique network of well-known shipyards, financial institutions, shipbrokers, charterers and ship owners.
Today the group consists of Nordic Hamburg Shipping, Nordic Hamburg Shipmanagement and Nordic Hamburg Capital.
Our mission is to be an efficient one stop partner in shipping, assisting demanding clients in managing their risks and enhancing their assets. We consider ourselves to be very much one stop as we are comprehensively involved with the whole process, from the initial project development phase through to project management, financing and corporate, commercial, technical and crew management.
